MAGA hat kids and Nick Sandman were coached into confrontation by Mitch McConnell's campaign staff

The world did not know Nick Sandmann until recently, when he has suddenly be pushed into a position as a young spokes person for the Republican far right like David Hoag is for gun control. The young bigots of Covington Catholic High School seemed to land in the perfect space for a confrontation, with brand MAGA hats and several well placed cameras when they began heckling and taunting first a group of Black Israelite and then a group of Native Protestors. His parents have retained a PR firm called RunSwitch, and he has been making the center-right media rounds.

 

Lead by Community Organizations, ICE office blockades spread to the South

It made a big impression in Portland, and quickly spread around the West Coast and into the Midwest. This morning, July 2nd, at 7am a coalition of organizations lead by Mijente Louisville began a blockade of the ICE office at 7th and Broadway in downtown Louisville. The coalition includes Black Lives Matter, Stand up Sunday, SURJ Louisville and Anti-Racist Action Louisville. An Occupy ICE blockade also began two days ago in Atlanta.
